career highlights
Early in my career I got to work with The Smithsonian Institute. It was my job to collect the ticket sales from the IMAX theatres around the world on the film, The Dream is Alive, and report the royalties.
Fun fact:
I was part of the company when the first film footage came back from the space shuttle. The director, Graeme Ferguson, was so moved by the raw footage, he invited the whole company to view at Ontario Place.
I bought 3 48' tractor trailer loads of unbleached potato flakes for the making of the film, Trapped in Paradise. As the bookkeeper/office manager for the special effects company, it was my job to break the scripts down, create the budget for the department, review with the supervisor, then buy and track expenses.
Fun Fact:
It was reported the next year that the possums in Niagara on the Lake hadn't hibernated and were the largest ever.
I was the Production Accountant for the 2010 Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame Inductee ceremony televised on CBC as well as a special, If You Could Read My Mind, with the Gord's, on CBC.
Fun Fact:
Meeting Gord Downie & Gordan Lightfoot, and listening to them talk on stage is a night I’ll never forget.
Through my print/3D company, I managed the successful creation and installation of a 48’ wide by 14’ high vertical garden over the Hard Rock Café, in downtown Toronto for the launch of Ford Hybrid.
Fun Fact:
It was the hottest summer on record and of the 1000+ shrubs that were installed less than 12 died.

Having Beth as my bookkeeper was one of the best moves I made for my consulting business. Beth set my business up on QuickBooks and made the transition to this system seamless. Having Beth’s guidance and expertise has eliminated the guess work out of doing my books. Most importantly, Beth has saved me time and money as my books are in excellent shape when handed off to the accountant. If you are looking for easy, efficient and timely service, you’ve found it.

As a multi-company entrepreneur, keeping on top of my finances is both critical and challenging. Beth has been an absolute game-changer for the financial health of my businesses. She meticulously manages the books for all my companies, transforming a year’s worth of transactions into a coherent and accurate financial narrative.
Calling her a ‘magician’ might seem whimsical, but it’s the term that comes to mind when I witness the ease with which she works her magic on our accounts. Her dedication and efficiency are unparalleled, and the peace of mind she provides is invaluable.
